Membership Procedure at Chittagong Boat Club
- Collect Forms: Prospective members can obtain the DGFI security clearance form (except armed forces officers) and the Membership Application Form from the CBC office for a fee of Tk. 100.
- Submit Forms: Submit the completed security clearance form and membership application form to the CBC office.
- Form Scrutiny: The Vice President, in consultation with the Executive Vice President and Balloting Committee, will scrutinise the forms and initiate the process to obtain DGFI security clearance (except for armed forces officers).
- Membership Application Form: Once DGFI security clearance is obtained, the applicant will be issued the CBC Membership Application Form for Tk. 500.
- Management Committee Review: Upon receiving the completed Membership Application Form, the management committee will review and pass a resolution for granting CBC membership.
- Final Approval: The CBC Vice President will recommend the applicant for final approval from the CBC Executive Vice President.
- Introduction Meeting: The Honorary Secretary/OIC CBC will prepare a temporary CBC Membership Card and invite the applicant for a formal introduction meeting with the Executive Vice President/Vice President at BNS ISSA KHAN/CBC office.
- Membership Card Issuance: The temporary CBC Membership Card will be handed over to the new member at the end of the introductory meeting.
